THE SENSORA, A MULTISENSORIAL THERAPEUTIC ENVIRONMENT

Based on the Light Modulation process exclusive to SENSORTECH, the Sensora offers a unique multi-sensorial environment which combines light, sound and kinesthetic vibration. This system constitutes a powerful tool for therapists who can enhance the process of healing in their patients with additional support. System

While a sophisticated projector comprising 20 independent LED light sources directs its light on a large hemispherical screen, an enhanced audio system plays a spatialized soundtrack into the surrounding space. The subject, who is comfortably resting on an ergonomic reclining chair - equipped with 8 transducers which convert the sound into kinesthetic sensations - is immersed in an ocean of pure colours and at the same time experiences the benefit of a sound massage. 

The multi-sensorial environment of the Sensora offers a profound experience of relaxation and well-being.

Technology

The Sensora functions by means of numerous processes which have been skillfully combined together with each other in order to create this unique light therapy system.
  • Light Modulation
Through this technique in which light is controlled in a patented way specific to SENSORTECH, the projected colours perform cerebral entrainment and act, according to the stimulated frequencies, as a support, most notably in the treatment of stress, burnout and insomnia.
  • Cerebral laterality
The cerebral laterality of the visual system permits a selective influence to occur in each one of the two hemispheres of the brain by way of a precise control from the light projections. Such lateral scanning contributes notably to the inter-hemispheric communication of the brain, a factor which is beneficial to homeostasis.
  • Dynamic sound transduction
The music is first of all transformed into sound vibrations, and then distributed into wavelike movements across the whole surface of the reclining chair.​

The Sensora uses exclusive LED light sources which allow the projection of pure colour of an incomparable quality, rarely found in nature. It features high precision, analog electronic LED drive circuits to generate a clean and stable light favourable for therapeutic application, unlike the light emitted by most common LED devices which contains substantial flickering. Although invisible to the naked eye, this flickering contributes to an environmental stress.
